Our Mission , Our Vision

We are here for the community!

COMMUNITY [kuh-myoo-ni-tee]

1. a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.

2. a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

Jambridge a non-profit organization that began with a passion for reinvigorating our community through music and the arts. Our mission is to help foster the continued growth and development of greater Ambridge by celebrating its great people via creative outlets. Our hope is that Ambridge will become a strong, unified community, where everyone is welcome to celebrate the varied cultures and beauty of its people and places. As small business owners, the founders of Jambridge have witnessed the renewed sense of pride and encouragement among area residents as investment and development have returned to Ambridge. We aim to celebrate the renaissance of our town and its neighboring communities with every one of its residents, while sharing the many great aspects of our community and its culture with visitors from far and wide.

Having a strong sense of community pride creates worth and purpose beyond our day-to-day lives. Frequently, individuals believe that they do not alone possess the power to effect great change; however, when we come together as a community, even the most daunting tasks become easily achievable. The organizers of Jambridge firmly believe in this axiom, and therefore, we seek to include every member of the community to join us as we work to grow and prosper. We believe that creative arts are a key element in bringing people together from throughout the community, and as a result, Jambridge has transformed our ideas into reality. As we continue to grow the festival in the coming years, we hope to bring more and more people to Ambridge, to raise awareness of the many great things our community has to offer.

Through the Jambridge Festival (and future affiliated events), we strive to create more opportunities within the community that facilitate fellowship and togetherness through engaging people of all ages and backgrounds in the surrounding areas. The ultimate goal is to give back to our town, as well as to all of the amazing people who make it our home.
